Account Executive

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a founding sales hire at an early-stage AI startup in the HR technology space, reporting directly to the founders. You will own the full sales cycle from day one, building pipeline from scratch and closing deals while helping shape the go-to-market strategy. Your work will have an immediate and visible impact on company revenue and growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing.

• Act as your own SDR by researching target accounts and executing outbound campaigns to build a robust pipeline.

• Manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving HR leaders, CFOs, and IT procurement teams.

• Partner with founders to refine the ideal customer profile, test messaging, and build the foundational sales playbook.

• Translate customer pain points into actionable product insights for the Product and Engineering teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 0 to 2 years of professional experience, or a recent graduate eager to break into B2B SaaS sales.

• A hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to generate leads and build pipeline from scratch, through internships, campus sales roles, SDR work, or self-directed outreach.

• Experience working at a startup or small business, or in an environment without established sales support systems.

• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with strong problem-solving instincts and a high degree of autonomy.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the grit to figure things out on the fly.

• Exposure to or genuine interest in HR, Finance, or AI domains is a strong plus.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary of $65,000 to $75,000, with a $140,000 OTE on a 50/50 base-to-commission split. No visa sponsorship is available.
