About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance Data, Operations & Solutions Junior Analyst to join our Global Compliance team and help us build a more data-driven, efficient, and scalable operation.

As EBANX continues to expand globally, our Compliance processes and controls need to evolve alongside the business. Data quality, automation, and technology are essential to making this possible, and this role will contribute directly to that transformation.

You will work at the intersection of data, technology, and Compliance, supporting the development of solutions that reduce manual work, improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and enable better decision-making. You will also have the opportunity to explore emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and apply them to real operational challenges.

What You'll Do

Extract, process, organize, and analyze data to support Compliance operations, monitoring activities, reporting, and decision-making.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance indicators to improve visibility into Compliance processes and results.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual work, and improve operational efficiency.

Develop and support automation solutions using tools such as Python, SQL, APIs, and AI-based technologies.

Contribute to improving data quality, reliability, and accessibility across Compliance processes.

Support the development, review, and optimization of monitoring rules and controls, including initiatives to reduce false positives.

Explore and test new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve existing workflows and develop more scalable solutions.

Collaborate with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and other internal teams to translate operational needs into practical technological solutions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives that help Compliance scale alongside EBANX's global expansion.

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

Knowledge of Python for data manipulation, process automation, and integration with APIs.

Intermediate SQL skills, including querying, joining, and transforming data.

Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.

Basic understanding of data structures, statistics, and analytical problem-solving.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset.

Interest in automation, artificial intelligence, and applying technology to improve business processes.

Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across different teams.

Intermediate English or above.

Nice to Have

Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, Selenium, or BeautifulSoup.

Familiarity with DBT, Git, Bash, or data transformation workflows.

Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.

Knowledge of workflow automation, AI tools, or AI-assisted development.

Previous experience or exposure to Compliance, Risk Management, Financial Services, or operational processes.

Spanish language skills.
