Frontend Desktop Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Desktop Engineer to develop and maintain a cross-platform peer-to-peer (P2P) communications application built with React and powered by a decentralised runtime. In this role, you will contribute to an innovative software environment that enables direct application connectivity without relying on traditional server infrastructure. You will work across user interface development, application architecture, state management, testing, and performance optimisation to deliver a seamless desktop experience. Collaborating with a globally distributed engineering team, you will help build reliable, responsive, and maintainable applications for multiple operating systems. You will also have the opportunity to explore P2P networking, real-time communication, and decentralised technologies that support greater user privacy and control over personal data.
