Product Designer

At Duna, we see the company as the second product we're building and are continually working to create a transparent, ambitious culture. We want this to be the place where you do your best work.

Our mission is to redefine identity for the global economy. We’re backed by world-class investors including Index Ventures as well as founders and executives from companies like Stripe, Adyen, Notion, Remote, Qonto, Framer, Anthropic, Mollie, OpenAI, Goldman Sachs.

Duna is growing fast, and we're really excited to bring our third designer onboard, alongside Coen van Hasselt (ex-Adyen) and Joost van der Ree (ex-Uber).

"Compliance and business onboarding is notoriously complex, and the user experience is often terrible. Exceptional design is a crucial element that sets Duna apart - it's at the core of our product. That’s why we put an immense amount of effort into how our users interact with the product. We aspire to craft clean and intuitive solutions for very complex problems. I'm excited to strengthen our team and design culture with this person!" — Duco, Founder

SINCE YOUR ROLE WITH US WILL RARELY FIT A JOB DESCRIPTION, WE ONLY WROTE A CRISP OVERVIEW.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Build and maintain a modular design system — create a system that powers both live implementations and Figma prototypes.

• Design complex onboarding flows — architect journeys that adapt to modular, multi-step customer needs.

• Apply a conversion-focused mindset — measure, test, and refine every step of the user experience.

• Prototype quickly and systematically — test ideas fast and refine based on customer feedback.

• Collaborate with engineering — work closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure designs translate seamlessly into production.

• Shape our design culture — set foundations and standards that help the team scale.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 4–6+ years of experience — designing complex products or workflows (B2B SaaS, enterprise tools, or compliance/fintech experience a plus).

• Systems thinking — you see beyond individual screens to the long-term structure of design systems.

• Analytical rigor — you treat interactions and journeys as testable, optimizable hypotheses.

• Clear communicator — you document decisions, trade-offs, and learnings transparently.

• Comfort with ambiguity — you can navigate complex system logic and still move quickly.

• Curiosity and inspiration — you draw from diverse influences and go deeper than the obvious references.

• Big ambitions — you want to build something that matters.
