Sales Executive - German Speaking

Got Drive? Join AnyVan as we make moving anything, anywhere miles better and build a career that moves just as fast.

Back in 2009, our Chairman Angus saw half-empty vans everywhere and knew there had to be a better way! That's how AnyVan began. He set out to create the world's most efficient logistics technology and help halve the number of wasted miles by filling those empty vans.

Since then we've become the nation's favourite way to move, with over 150k five-star reviews and 5 million customers in the UK and Europe. Our team of 400 AnyVanners across London, Cape Town and Bogota is proving that moving doesn't have to cost the earth by helping save 8,520 tonnes of Carbon each year.

Big Energy. Big Deals. Big Paydays.

Four our reverse auction sales executives at At AnyVan, sales isn’t “answer the phone and take the order.” It’s where we win customers, build trust fast, and convert with discipline in real time.

We’re hiring a Reverse Auction Sales Executive who doesn’t hide behind scripts, slow follow-ups, or “I’ll email you a quote.” This is a fast-paced, high-volume, commercial role for someone who thrives on pace, pressure, and negotiation, turning warm demand into booked revenue by running live competition between suppliers.

You’ll be accountable for converting inbound enquiries into confirmed bookings through speed, negotiation, pipeline ownership, and commercial judgement every day.

What you'll be doing:

• Own your desk like a business: You’ll manage your pipeline end-to-end response time, follow-ups, conversion, margin, and booked revenue.

• Move fast on warm inbound leads: Contact customers within minutes, control the call, qualify quickly, and keep momentum high.

• Run live reverse auctions: Engage multiple transport partners to compete for the job and secure the best viable rate.

• Negotiate with confidence: Balance customer value and supplier pricing while protecting margin and booking quality.

• Convert with discipline: Drive every enquiry to a clear outcome, booked, timed follow-up, or closed out properly.

• Upsell value where it matters: Add services that genuinely improve the customer outcome and increase booking value.

• Track your numbers daily: You’ll manage activity → conversion → revenue and know exactly what lever to pull to win more.

You'll thrive here if you:

• Love pressure and do your best work when targets are tough

• Obsess over speed → negotiation → conversion, and know how to win in each moment

• Can juggle multiple live deals without dropping detail or standards

• Bring energy and ownership, you don’t need chasing

• Treat sales like a competitive sport: disciplined, daily, relentless

• Enjoy commercial problem-solving and protecting margin while winning customers

This is NOT:

• A call centre “take the order” role

• A slow sales cycle where you wait days for decisions

• Role for someone who avoids negotiation or feels uncomfortable talking about money

• A place to hide behind “the customer ghosted” you own follow-up and urgency

• For you if you need to be micromanaged to stay sharp on pace, pipeline, and targets

• A discount-first environment, we win with speed, value, and control

What you'll bring:

• Proven success in a high-performance, target-driven sales environment

• Strong negotiation ability and commercial instinct (margin mindset)

• You’re a strong communicator who can build rapport quickly.

• Comfort handling objections, controlling calls, and closing confidently

• Excellent pipeline discipline and follow-up execution

• You bring enthusiasm, resilience, and the hunger to succeed.

• You pay attention to detail and learn fast.

• You thrive in a buzzing, supportive sales floor.

• You speak and write both German fluently alongside Spanish and English.

Bonus points: experience in logistics/freight brokerage, 360° recruitment, estate agency, car sales, insurance broking, or marketplace businesses.
