We operate in a fast-moving environment with numerous companies, brands, offers, sales teams, vendors, and revenue relationships moving through our financial systems. Our accounting function needs to be accurate, organized, proactive, and capable of handling complexity at scale.

We're looking for a Staff Accountant who is more than a transaction processor. We need someone who can own day-to-day accounting responsibilities, manage a high volume of financial activity, reconcile complex transactions, accurately administer commissions, and identify issues before they become problems.

Experience in an agency, BPO, outsourced accounting firm, SaaS company, sales organization, marketplace, or another high-volume financial environment is highly preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate, timely, and well-documented financial records across Curvion Blue's operations.

This role supports a high-volume, multi-company financial environment where billing, revenue, payments, and sales commissions flow across dozens of external companies, brands, offers, and revenue relationships.

The Staff Accountant will own or support core accounting workflows across:

• Accounts payable

• Accounts receivable

• Billing and invoicing

• Revenue reconciliation

• Sales commissions

• Payroll and commission schedules

• Credit cards and expenses

• Cash and banking

• Account reconciliations

• Month-end close

• Financial reporting support

The right person is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. They should be able to look across large amounts of financial data and quickly identify when something doesn't tie out, doesn't make sense, or doesn't match the underlying agreement.

You should naturally ask:

"What should this number be, and why isn't it?"

rather than simply entering what is in front of you.

YOU SHOULD APPLY IF

• You have experience managing high-volume accounting activity across multiple companies, entities, customers, vendors, or revenue streams.

• You have experience with sales commissions, variable compensation, or commission reconciliation.

• You have experience with billing, invoicing, AR, and revenue reconciliation.

• You are comfortable working with large amounts of transactional data.

• You have worked in an agency, BPO, outsourced accounting firm, SaaS company, sales organization, marketplace, or other fast-paced environment.

• You are exceptionally detail-oriented and naturally notice when something doesn't reconcile.

• You can investigate discrepancies rather than simply flagging them.

• You can manage recurring deadlines without constant follow-up.

• You are comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

• You communicate quickly when something is wrong or when you need additional information.

• You enjoy improving processes rather than simply following them.

• You can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy.

• You have only worked in low-volume accounting environments and are uncomfortable with a high volume of transactions.

• You have little experience with reconciliations or investigating discrepancies.

• You consider accounting "done" once transactions have been entered.
