KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the business leader for the territory, driving financial performance across both revenue and profitability while balancing operational and commercial priorities.

• Own financial planning and resource allocation (budget, time, and headcount), making ongoing investment decisions as business conditions evolve.

• Define and execute strategies to expand the business and increase market share within the territory.

• Lead a commercial team to build the strongest portfolio of merchants across a large and complex geographic area.

• Act as the voice of your team and key stakeholders, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations, Product, and other teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.

• Define and lead change management initiatives alongside your team, ensuring the business remains adaptable to the evolving needs of merchants and customers.

• Develop and lead expansion plans for strategic accounts, ensuring operational excellence and successful execution.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 5+ years in Operations, Sales, or Account Management, with at least 1 year of people leadership experience in these functions.

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Strong interpersonal and commercial skills: Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with merchants.

• People leadership: Lead by example, setting high performance standards while remaining empathetic to your team's challenges. Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence to make sound decisions and navigate ambiguity.

• Organizational discipline: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously.

• Data-driven mindset and business judgment: Make decisions based on analytical thinking and sound business acumen.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in SQL (highly preferred).

• Experience in technology and/or retail companies.

• Experience managing a P&L.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
